The site-specific landscape design for this project, by Soren Deniord, features a north-facing courtyard where ferns and woodland plantings come to meet the house and a sunny lawn space perfect for child play. A wooded buffer of preserved mature trees conceals the driveway from the house. Flanking the driveway a free-standing drystone wall, capped with Reclaimed Foundation Granite defines the edge of the property. Reclaimed granite was also sourced for the patio surface and custom built fire pit. Native plantings of Blueberry, Viburnum, Eupatorium, Aster and Spiraea mix with non-native culitvars to create a garden palate that compliments the woodland site.
