Stewarding Your Landscape Through the Years
Terrapin’s gardening services are available to clients who have worked with us on a landscape design and installation project in other Southern Maine service area, including Falmouth, Cape Elizabeth, Kennebunk, and the Sebago Lake region. Our team of arborists, horticulturists, and landscapers return to your property season after season, offering care that goes beyond maintenance. Our landscape maintenance may include:
- Pruning and deadheading
- Turf care
- Spring and fall cleanup
- Weeding
- Amending soil and mulching

- Fertilization

We offer these services exclusively to clients who’ve worked with us on a landscape installation project and are located within our Southern Maine service area. We also ask that all Fine Gardening clients maintain an approved irrigation system and communicate any concerns as the landscape grows. Basic care like watering is essential to the long-term health of your plants.
We recommend a tailored schedule to keep your gardens looking their best. Some clients prefer weekly visits, while others choose less frequent maintenance so they can do some of the work themselves. We’re flexible—let us know your preferences, and we can adjust the schedule up or down as needed. Have a special event or seasonal project? Get in touch, and we’ll be there to refresh and prepare your garden.
Not at all. We’re happy to coordinate access and follow up with updates and recommendations.
We only offer Fine Gardening services for landscapes we’ve installed. That way, we know the materials, plant choices, and long-term vision and can care for it accordingly. However, if you’re looking to remodel your existing beds and want to partner with an experienced design team invested in long-term flourishing, learn more about our custom design services.
We don’t require long term contracts or fixed pricing for maintenance. Once you review and agree to our horticulture standards, you are a customer year after year, unless/until you choose to cancel services. You are only invoiced for time spent and material used.
