Enlisted to create an outdoor wellness and entertaining sanctuary, the team collaborated on an infinity-edge pool, integrated hot tub, and expansive stone patio that feel seamlessly embedded within the coastal setting. Thoughtful craftsmanship—such as a recessed spa wrapped in custom ipe decking, reclaimed granite curbing repurposed for stairs, and a nearly invisible wire-mesh fence—ensures that built elements complement rather than compete with the natural landscape.

Central to the project was Terrapin’s environmental mission: to leave the land better than they found it. Replacing manicured lawn with native plantings like milkweed, New England asters, and highbush blueberries improved erosion control, enhanced privacy, and restored habitat for pollinators—including the return of Monarch caterpillars soon after completion. By balancing form and function, aesthetics and ecology, the project demonstrates how intentional landscape design can create luxurious outdoor living spaces while fostering biodiversity and long-term environmental health.
